I put a treat egg inside a half price books tote bag and left it on the living room floor. I didn’t get pictures of everything, it was hilarious when the cat left the bag, backwards.
This leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I’m all for removing apps that are degrading to women. I’m fine with that. However. Apple doesn’t know what that is, especially based on the SG app being removed. And. They are doing it *now* when the iPad is on it’s way? That’s just marketing, that’s not caring. That’s Unilever selling Dove AND Axe.
Also, are we going to have a kid-friendly iPad for school and a not-intelligent-adult-friendly iPad instead? The iPad is supposed to have books. Well, we can’t have anything that just might be arousing. So, that means, let’s see. No comics. No graphic novels. No romance. Not a lot of sci-fi. And none of the porn disguised as books like some of the things Laurell Hamilton writes.
I like my macbook pro, a lot. It’s great for being a student, it’s great for someone who does research, it’s lighter than the DELL laptop – with a smaller screen – that I used to carry around. I mostly like my iphone. I was planning on getting an iPad for the functionality of iPhone apps and an ereader (and a music player and etc) all in one. (I don’t have an ereader like a kindle right now.) This crap makes me hesitant.
Is this reflecting the general Puritanical nature of American mainstream society or is this someone at Apple being stupid and not thinking this through? And I’m not even going to go into the whole Internet and porn thing. One last thing…
How many upskirt pictures have been shot with an iPhone camera?
The first square that is the attempt to make an aphgan/blanket is complete. 11 more squares to go? I’m knitting double strand synthetic yarn and I have very little experience with knitting.
I’m not doing gauges or anything fancy, just attempting to keep squares same/similar in size and square like… will that change as I go? I don’t know.
This is cool. It involves bacon and hummus so automatically it is made of awesome.
I started playing Vanguard: Saga of Heroes again. Mostly because it’s semester break. Partly because I wanted to see how the game had changed since I had played it during beta and shortly after release. (It’s better in many, many ways.) Also, I just learned the joy and power of alt+print screen.
Anyways…I finished a quest (like you do in MMOs) and got a new weapon. Now my high elf ranger has long swords that hold up her boobies!!
(I cropped down the picture a bit… make it easier to upload, easier to view, etc.)
I’ve been productive recently. Learned more of flickr, learned more of photoshop… and that was just some fun stuff.
Mother of all aloe plants.
(Testing, testing, testing blogging from flickr.)
(and now from wordpress) This seems to work well enough. Sadly… more proof (at least from Firefox) that there is something wrong with this theme.
Update: Saturday afternoon (that is 12/22)
So I have switched back to the theme I had before the last one… I think this one will stay.
I have CS3 and want to learn Photoshop… all those awesome things people do… I want to do that.
I did the “Hey, what’s this button do?” *click* “What about this?” *click* … you get the idea.
I figured out Layer > New Adjustment Layer and then Change Layer Content > Color Balance for some neat effects…. (Or at least I think.) I need to read some of the Photoshop book to understand colors a little better.
It’s not all that special… but it’s me definitely becoming a little more comfortable with Photoshop. And of course it’s a way for me to mess with uploading pictures on wordpress.
And I’ll need to figure out why wordpress won’t let me add categories now…
