Writing Tracking – May 2019

Through Camp NaNoWriMo I had a place to keep a running tally of my progress for the month of April. Now I’m finding I haven’t set one up for May in my bullet journal and I can’t decide what I want to do so I’m going to try out something here first.

Day by Day —

  • 1 – zero – tired, bunch of stuff happened
  • 2 – 45 minutes – mostly brainstorming and talking through ideas
  • 3 – 30 minutes – painfully slow work
  • 4 – 40 minutes – mostly brainstorming, some scene ideas – 397 words
  • 5 – gaming most of the day so no writing, was creative in other ways
  • 6 – 2 sessions – 50 minutes total, I estimated 40 minutes on writing
  • 7 – no minutes, other stuff
  • 8 – no minutes, other stuff
  • 9 – writing hard. about 30 minutes
  • 10 – headache again – about 15 minutes
  • 11 – busy day outside the house, including the salon
  • 12 – recovery and chores
  • 13 – spent over an hour working on why am I having so much trouble remembering what I’m writing? and a blog post.
  • 14 – bullet journal stuff
  • 15 – bullet journal stuff
  • 16 – more bullet journal stuff
  • 17 – bullet journal building oh my and workshop 1-2 in Planning your Novel by Janice Hardy
  • 18 – workshop 2 in Planning your Novel
  • 19 – most of the day was gaming (Starfinder) so no brain power left for writing
  • 20 – approximately three 20 minute writing sessions on workshop 3. Writing down my idea involves deciding on some details first.
  • 21 – two doctor appointments, and stuff
  • 22 – three 20 minutes sessions on workshop 3. Looked more at what’s vague, what’s uninteresting
  • 23 – Museum! Fancy lunch! Tired!
  • 24 – three 20 minute writing sessions. Maybe I’ve got 1 idea – 2 protagonists. Sorta like 2 ideas
  • 25 – one 20 minute session, partly organizing
  • 26 –
